When you are the caregiver to an elderly parent, spouse, sibling, or child, you live a profound experience with high-level demands on your time, resources, and personal energy. Research shows as many as one in three caregivers rate their stress level as high, putting caregivers at risk for burnout or health problems.
Your innate creativity is a powerful ally for maintaining a healthy balance and positive outlook. In this 90-minute workshop, you will practice the art of writing and relaxation in a stimulating and supportive environment. No writing or art experience necessary. All materials will be supplied. You will choose to write and create what is most meaningful for you.
Connect with your creativity and its power to rediscover your personal strength, dreams, and goals. We'll use a combination of prompts, music, and visualization to spark your imagination and to bring your stories to the page.
Refreshed, return to your loved one and busy life with a renewed perspective and gratitude. You will also receive a set of writing tips and exercises to help support your creativity.
Light refreshments provided.
You are naturally creative.
